The use of PUB•F type polyurethane rigid foam waterproof and thermal insulation integrated panels focuses on the entire process of base treatment, panel installation, node sealing, and finished product acceptance. Strictly following the specifications can ensure that the dual performance of waterproofing and thermal insulation is up to standard.
Base treatment before construction
Ensure that the base wall is smooth, dry, free of oil stains, and free of hollows and looseness. The moisture content of the base layer is controlled within 8%. The concrete base surface is painted in advance with a special interface agent to seal the pores.
Pop up horizontal and vertical control lines on the wall in advance, set the hanging reference line according to the total thickness of the insulation layer, and provide temporary shielding and protection in advance for doors, windows, and pipes passing through the wall.
For corners, yin and yang corners, and other stress-concentrated areas, use plastering mortar to make arc transitions in advance to avoid stress concentration cracking in subsequent plate splicing.
️Plate installation and fixation
The dual fixation method of bonding + mechanical anchoring is adopted. The adhesive uses special polyurethane bonding mortar. The adhesive area is not less than 40% of the board area. After pasting, gently knead and compact to ensure a tight fit.
There are no less than 6 insulation anchors per square meter. The depth of the anchor bolts into the base wall is not less than 50mm. The joints of the panels are controlled within 2mm, and the adjacent panels are arranged in staggered seams.
After the board is pasted, let it sit for 24-48 hours. After the adhesive is completely cured and matured, proceed to the next construction process. It is prohibited to carry out subsequent operations in advance.
Interface and surface construction
The surface of the board is evenly sprayed with special polyurethane interface mortar to achieve full coverage without leakage. After the interface mortar is completely dry, an alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh reinforcement layer is laid.
The thickness of the plastering mortar should be controlled at 3-5mm. The mesh cloth should be completely embedded inside the mortar. An additional layer of reinforced mesh cloth should be laid at the Yin and Yang corners and around the door and window openings.
Surface decoration construction must be carried out after the plastering mortar is completely cured to avoid premature construction that may lead to quality problems such as hollowing, falling off, and cracks in the surface layer.
Special node sealing treatment
The splicing gaps between the panels are filled densely with a special polyurethane foaming agent, and the surface is sealed with a weather-resistant sealant to prevent rainwater from penetrating through the gaps and damaging the insulation layer.
Use polyurethane sealant to seal the entire perimeter of wall-penetrating pipes and embedded parts, and make a waterproof reinforcement layer to eliminate hidden dangers of leakage.
Special edge strips are used to seal the edges of the system and the interface with other materials to ensure the sealing and durability of the joints.
✅ Acceptance and later maintenance
After the construction is completed, focus on checking the thickness, bonding strength, and flatness of the panels. A 48-hour closed water test is conducted on the roof area, and a water spray test is conducted on the wall area. If there is no leakage, it is considered qualified.
Regularly check whether the surface of the board is damaged or cracked on a daily basis, and repair the damaged parts in time to avoid long-term accumulation of water or chemical substances corroding the surface of the board.
It is strictly forbidden to drill holes or nails directly on the surface of the board to damage the integrated structure. If you need to install additional components, you must do a waterproof sealing treatment in advance.
