The construction method of J-type rock wool insulation and decorative integrated board is as follows:
Construction preparation
Design briefing: Before construction, designers and construction teams need to conduct detailed technical briefings to clarify the structure and construction requirements of the integrated panels.
Material confirmation: Confirm the model, specification and quantity of integrated panels, as well as the variety and quantity of auxiliary materials such as adhesives, sealants, anchors and so on.
Base treatment: Clean the wall surface to remove oil stains, floating ash and loose layers to ensure the surface is smooth, dry and free of open water. If there are any cracks or uneven areas, they should be repaired and smoothed.
Spring line division
Spring control lines and hanging reference lines: According to the building facade design and special construction plan, horizontal and vertical control lines for external door and window openings as well as expansion joints, decorative seams, decorative strips, special bracket position lines, etc. are popped up on the wall. The accurate setting of the baseline is crucial to ensure construction quality and aesthetics.
Set up system deformation joints: Pop up system deformation joints and width lines at corresponding locations on the wall to mark the location of the rock wool boards to prevent wall cracks and damage caused by temperature changes or structural deformation.
Mounting bracket
Use anti-corrosion treated special brackets and install them according to the design documents and special construction plan requirements. The installation of the brackets should be firm and reliable to ensure the stable fixation of the integrated exterior wall insulation and decorative panels.
Material processing
Cutting the integrated board: Cut the length and width of the integrated board according to the wall size to ensure accurate dimensions. When cutting, keep the surface of the board flat and free of burrs.
Processing anchors: According to the design requirements, process the anchors on the back of the integrated board to ensure that the number and position of the anchors meet the specification requirements.
Paste integrated board
Coating adhesive: Apply adhesive on the wall using spot or strip method. The adhesive area should not be less than 50%. Paste the integrated board on the wall to ensure it is firmly and flatly adhered.
Installation sequence: Vertical construction is generally carried out from bottom to top. Horizontal construction should follow the principle of first the positive angle and then the negative angle. First ensure the symmetry and uniformity of special structures (such as doors and windows) before large-area construction.
Install anchors
Insert the processed anchor into the reserved hole of the integrated board and tap it gently with a hammer to fix it to the wall. The effective anchoring depth of anchors into the concrete base should not be less than 25mm, and the effective anchoring depth into the masonry wall base should not be less than 50mm.
Board seam treatment
Caulking: Fill the gaps between integrated panels with insulation foam strips to further insulate and save sealant.
Gluing: Paste masking tape on the edges of the board seams. After cleaning the board seams, squeeze in weather-resistant silicone sealant. Squeezing should be done slowly and continuously without any cavities or bubbles. The glue should be 3~5mm higher than the board surface. After squeezing, the glue seam should be trimmed and smoothed in one direction immediately.
Install special exhaust plug
24 hours after applying the weather-resistant silicone sealant, according to the principle of setting up one exhaust hole for every 10 to 15 square meters of wall area, install an exhaust plug at the intersection of the horizontal and vertical board joints or in the middle of the joint between the two boards to prevent water from entering.
Clean the panel
Remove the masking tape and clean the surface of the integrated board to keep it clean and beautiful.
Finished product protection
During the construction process, attention should be paid to protecting the installed integrated panels to avoid collisions and scratches.
Insulation decorative boards should be kept away from direct sunlight and fire sources. There should be no open flames or welding operations nearby.
Quality acceptance
Check the flatness: Use a 2-meter ruler to check the flatness of the integrated board, and the error shall not exceed 3 mm.
Check anchors: Check whether the number and location of anchors meet design requirements.
Check the sealant: Check whether the sealant is full, even, and free of bubbles, cracks, etc.
Processing of acceptance results: rectify the parts that fail the acceptance until they meet the specification requirements.
