Polyurethane hard bubble waterproof and insulation integrated board has both waterproof and insulation functions and is widely used in the construction field. Its usage methods mainly include pre-construction preparation, base layer treatment, board installation, joint treatment, inspection and acceptance steps. The following is a detailed introduction:

Preparation before construction

Technical preparation: Organize construction personnel to be familiar with construction drawings, relevant specifications and technical requirements, conduct technical briefings, and clarify construction technology and quality standards.

Material preparation: Check whether the specifications, model and quantity of the polyurethane hard bubble waterproof and insulation integrated board meet the design requirements. At the same time, prepare supporting adhesives, sealants, anchors and other auxiliary materials to ensure that the material quality is qualified and there are quality certificates.

Tool preparation: Equipped with cutting machines, electric drills, trowels, rulers, tape measure, hanging line hammers and other construction tools, and check the integrity and usability of the tools.

On-site preparation: Clean the construction site to ensure that the surface of the base layer is flat, dry, oil-filled, dust-free and other debris. Measure and lay the lines at the construction site to determine the installation position and elevation of the board.

Grassroots processing

Base layer cleaning: Use brooms, shovels and other tools to remove floating ash, oil, debris, etc. on the surface of the base layer. For uneven parts, use cement mortar to level the surface flatness deviation of the base layer to not exceed the specified value (generally required 4mm/2m).

Base layer wet: Before pasting the board, wet the base layer appropriately, but there must be no clear water. Wetting the base layer can improve the bonding strength between the adhesive and the base layer.

Board installation

Typesetting design: According to the size and shape of the building, the polyurethane hard bubble waterproof and insulation integrated board is typed to minimize the cutting and splicing of the board, and improve the utilization rate of the material and the overall aesthetics.

Adhesive application: Apply adhesive to the back of the board by dot frame method or strip stick method. The dot frame method is to apply adhesive around the back of the board, with a width of about 50-60mm, and evenly arrange 8-10 bonding points in the middle, with a diameter of about 100-120mm; the strip sticking method is to apply several strips of adhesive around the back of the board, with a width of about 100mm and a spacing of about 50mm. The thickness of the adhesive should meet the design requirements and is generally controlled at 3-5mm.

Plate paste: Quickly paste the plate with adhesive applied to the base layer, gently tap the surface of the board with a rubber hammer to make it fully bonded to the base layer, and adjust the position and perpendicularity of the board. The gaps between the plates should be uniform and uniform, generally controlled at 3-5mm.

Anchor fixing: After the plate is pasted for 24 hours, drill holes on the plate with an electric drill to install the anchor. The number and layout of anchors should be determined according to the design requirements, generally at least 6-8 pieces per square meter. The anchor should penetrate the base wall at no less than 50mm.

Seam processing

Seam-caking: Fill polyurethane foam glue at the joints of the board. The foam glue should be filled with full and dense, and the seam-caking height should be slightly higher than the surface of the board.

Sealing: After the foam glue is cured, use a blade to cut off the foam glue that is higher than the surface of the board, and then apply sealant to the joints. The sealant should be applied evenly and smoothly, with a width not less than 10mm and a thickness not less than 3mm. Sealant can effectively prevent moisture from penetrating and improve waterproofing performance.

Inspection and acceptance

Appearance inspection: Check whether the installation of the board is flat and firm, and whether there are any defects such as damage or cracks on the surface. Is the joints full and well sealed, and whether there is any leakage.

Adhesion strength detection: Use a pull-out instrument to detect the bonding strength between the plate and the base layer. The bonding strength should comply with the design requirements and relevant standards.

Anchor pulling test: Perform a pulling test on the anchor to check whether the anchoring force of the anchoring member meets the design requirements.

Finished product protection

After the construction is completed, effective protection measures should be taken to avoid damage to the surface of the board by collision, scratches, etc.

In subsequent process construction, such as wall decoration, door and window installation, attention should be paid to protect the installed polyurethane hard bubble waterproof and insulation integrated board to prevent pollution and damage.
